The rapper was charged with assault and attempted robbery after assaulting a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport on July 19.
West is accused of throwing photographer Daniel Ramos down and trying to grab his camera when the paparazzi tried to take pictures as he left the airport.
The hearing was set for Oct. 10 in court.
